Welcome to More Letters about Gloria.

For Friends who are curious to know more of Gloria’s activities, here for your interest is a second selection of Letters from her Book, with a separate opportunity to vote for the best of them.

We start with her very first Letter from January 2011 which would have been a Christmas circular except that it was written in the New Year, and also happens to be the longest of all her letters, which is why we did not burden you with it in her first selection.

Previous to that date the activities since her rescue in 1975 were in her CD.

Gloria has her own way of working:

Unlike other girls she considers her makeup after an event has happened rather than before it.

She avoids a surname. Surnames tend to classify people, suggesting what we expect them to do, while she remains free to come and go in any direction she pleases.

‘Your joints are made differently from my joints’, she reckons. ‘So what’s to be surprised about? That’s just the way we each happen to have been provided, so let’s accept it and carry on’.

Welcome to Glorias Adventures.

Gloria in a Victorian nightgown, together with her broken off arm, was rescued on 10th August 1975 just hours before going into Hertford Hospital incinerator. Labels on her wrist and gown show she was earlier at Bishops Stortford hospital, now demolished, just inside Hertfordshire. Get out of bed on the wrong side there and you are in Essex.

These Letters are selected for your interest from her Book of Adventures, currently out of print. They don’t take long to read, so maybe a cup of coffee.

It has been said that it is very difficult to find a book containing no alcohol, no sex and no references to men whatsoever. Gloria comes exceedingly near to cracking it!
